Great for basement bars and outdoor eating areas, the 150-watt ice maker creates three different sizes of ice cube on its 12 metal rods, using either tap or bottled water. It generates ice within 6-8 minutes of powering up and turns out up to 29 pounds of ice a day, storing 2-1/2 pounds at a time in an insulated chest. Operation of the unit is easy, thanks to its microprocessor's soft-touch controls and clear indicator lights that warn when water is low or the storage tank is full.
